this is a great website for lyrics and all but I notice there is tons of newer bands I never heard of.. See im a classic rocker and I was down with some of the new metal bands but alot of the other emo or goth metal ect ect..... no.

so Im correct in saying this is a younger music fan site?

you're not entirely correct... this place is crawling with Placebo fans (which are NOT welcome... at least not if they want to talk about Placebo or Coldplay...) but most of us love MUSIC... old or new ones... ask lenny... he'll be more able to say what makes an artist get on this website...

Well there is a presentation of the site on the news page.

But i can repeat again myself : the site presents artists i love and listen to. And when i say Love it's love not like. If i would put any artist i like it will be too huge !

Also, I'm not into Gothic bands, neither Hard rock or metal bands.
I love artists. I love to promote new ones. I have no regret for any bands online. Even Placbo when i discover them in 1996. Maybe Coldplay but their first album was great 6 years ago and i thought they will be better.

That's all. So here, no megadeth, no Mettalica, no Commercial stuff, only real music. Many different styles and genres from the root of music : pop, rock, folk, hip hop sometimes (i'm not really into but sometimes there are great surprises!), trip hop, electronica, eletro-jazz, jazz vocal, Soul, and the supreme genre : Jazz ! Too bad i have not the courage to do a site on jazz.

And well I have to say that hard rock or metal bands are for younger people. I remember many fans of hard rock or metal who thought that was the greatest music ever and now after their teenage years, they will never listen again to that !

Also, '70 or '80 bands are not on the site for most of them even if sometimes i love them. Exception for the greatest : led zep, jimi, janis, doors, velvet, lou reed, Leonard etc...

Here is the explanation. I hope you will understand my poor english !
