Wax Tailor, aka JC le Saout, made a remarkable impact worldwide with his debut “Tales of the Forgotten Melodies.” A sweeping, cinematic hip-hop album that had critics citing similarities to DJ Shadow, RJD2 and Portishead, “Tales” propelled this Frenchman to stardom in his home country and his debut was heralded as Radio Nova's album of the year. Stateside, “Tales” spent 28 straight weeks in the iTunes Top Electronic Albums and remains there to date. The album topped the CMJ Hip Hop and RPM charts (16 and 13 weeks in the top 20, respectively) and tastemaker radio station, KEXP in Seattle, deemed it one of the best albums of 2006. The breakout single “Our Dance” was heralded as one of the best singles of the year in Playboy Magazine as well as iTunes.

An artist's second album is often seen as the moment of truth. With “Hope & Sorrow,” set for release in May, 2007, Wax Tailor confirms his musical identity. Often categorized as trip-hop or downtempo hip-hop, Wax Tailor breaks musical barriers using a sonic palette to demonstrate his life chronicles tainted in soul, jazz, and funk.

The tone of “Hope & Sorrow” is set from the introduction, where sounds unwind in a long one take and finally give way to Nate Harrisson's essay from “Can I Get An Amen.” Through the course of 12 tracks and 3 interludes, he tells us a new story, unraveling like a movie scenario with vocal guests as his actors who deliver their lines to the tune of a great director.

Like his debut, “Hope & Sorrow” showcases an array of talented guest musicians. Also featured on “Tales,” Charlotte Savary's voice finds a gentle balance of sweetness and self-confidence on “The Man With No Soul,” “To Dry Up” and “Alien In My Belly.” This songstress reminds one of Bristolian cabaret pop where melancholy and melody intertwine. Sharon Jones, the leading figure of the neo soul movement, lets her voice soar to heights far beyond that of modern R&B on “The Way We Lived.”

Ursula Rucker is the priestess of Spoken Words. A familiar of The Roots, she offers her most exciting track to date, “We Be,” a poem that epitomizes the struggles of independence. LA based rapper, Voice, one of the true discoveries of this album, expresses a femininity in Rap on “The Games You Play” that is an all too rare occurrence. Marina Quaisse embraced the Wax Tailor project from the start and here again, she co-writes a number of songs and sprinkles softness throughout with her melancholic cello playing. The Others and A State Of Mind, no strangers to the underground hip-hop scene, drop their clever verses on the funky tracks “House of Wax” and “Positively Inclined.”

“On my first album I had a lot of instrumental tracks,” explains JC, “I wanted to have more vocal guests on ‘Hope & Sorrow,' which changed the way I approached song writing, giving the songs a more pop orientation.” JC's stage name, Wax Tailor, originated in 2004 with the release of his EP “Lost The Way.” He subsequently released his first full-length album, “Tales Of The Forgotten Melodies,” completely on his own. The album garnered critical acclaim and love from French music fans and became one of the best selling electronic releases of the year. His next move was to take his show live, with a four-piece band, and find a way to translate the cinematic feel of his music through the use of video.

Building on the solid foundation in France, Wax Tailor licensed “Tales” to Decon in 2006 for North American distribution and continued touring across the globe, opening up for the likes of Aceyalone & RJD2. In addition to the release of his sophomore effort, “Hope & Sorrow,” 2007 will see Wax Tailor bring this prolific live show to the United States.

Tales of the Forgotten Melodies

Behind The Curtain (Opening)

Tailor, tailor
Just tell me what happened to him
Is he hurt, is he alive
W-where is he

The tailor, the wax
Tailor, tailor...

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen
Do you recognize my voice
This is your story-teller
I'm happy to be here with you
And I'd like you to join me
For the first time

F-for more than a year
Ominous rumours have been privately circulating
[sample: Dr. Strangelove, Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb (dir. Stanley Kubrick, 1964)]

I realize what I'm about to say
Come as a great shock
However, I'm counting on you to respond appropriately
Using great presence of mind
We rush to our closest laboratory
Our dream has been led by cloning
We would re-duplicate the entire
[sample: Sleeper (dir. Woody Allen. 1974)

Music, music
Let me know when you're ready
That's a good start

Que Sera

[Que Sera, Sera sample: Doris Day in Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much] (<-- Scene at the hotel room)

A record of the delightful piece
They're going to play this evening
[sample: The Man Who Knew Too Much (dir. Alfred Hitchcock, 1956)]

Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen
Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen
La-la-la-la-la-ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen
Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen
Your-your-your attention please!
And the moment we've been waiting for is here
I, I have something to tell you

Que sera, sera
Que sera, sera
Que sera, sera
Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be, will be
The future's not ours, future's not ours, future's not ours...

I believe in the future
I believe in the future
I don't believe in miracles
[sample: Ben-Hur (dir. William Wyler, 1959); voice: Charlton Heston as Judah Ben-Hur)]

Ca-ca-can it be true
It must be true! No doubt!

Life is going on as normally as ever
But suddenly something seems to have happened
(suddenly something seems to have happened)
Everybody seems to be staring in one direction
People seem to be frightened, even te-te-terrified
[sample: To Be or Not to Be (dir. Ernst Lubitsch, 1942)]

I want everybody to understand this
I-I don't understand
I don't understand
There are a lot of things we don't understand
I don't understand either

We need answers from you
What did you expect to find
What did you expect to find
[sample: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (dir. Steven Spielberg, 1977); voice: Bob Balaban as David Laughlin]

What's going to be our future
[sample: Shadow of a Doubt (dir. Alfred Hitchcock, 1943); voice: Teresa Wright as Charlie]

It's your responsibility to do something about it
Well I, I have the key
All I have to find is the lock, the lock, the lock...

Now listen to me, all of you
[sample: Ben-Hur; voice: Jack Hawkins as Quintus Arrius]

Que sera, sera
Que sera, sera
Que sera, sera
Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be, will be
Dam sim sam da la da la la la
Oh you're divine

Ungodly Fruit

We're just like other people
We love to sing
We love to dance
We admire beautiful women
We're human
And sometimes very human
[sample: To Be or Not to Be (dir. Ernst Lubitsch, 1942); voice: Stanley Ridges as Professor Alexander Siletsky]

Perhaps those who may be among us for the first time
May be wondering what is going to happen now
It is of course necessary for the minds and the souls of us all

Between Fellows

We warn you that I say what I think
I'm a complete individual
I'm against communism, capitalism
Fascism and nazism
Against everything and everybody
I hate my fellow man and he hates me
I often wonder what it would be like
To be happy twenty-four hours a day
[sample: That Uncertain Feeling (dir. Ernst Lubitsch, 1941); voice: Burgess Meredith as Alexander Sebastian)

Hypnosis theme

( Featuring Marina Quaisse )

Now count backward from ten
Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four...
What comes after four
Two...
[sample: Escape from the Planet of Apes (dir. Don Taylor, 1971); voices: Bradford Dillmas as Dr. Lewis Dixon, Kim Hunter as Dr. Zira]

Keep concentrating
Just relax
Just concentrate and make your mind a blank
Ok relax, please take this seriously
[sample: A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy (dir. Woody Allen, 1982); voice: Woody Allen as Andrew]
Relax and have a good time

Tell me everything you remember

You're trying to hypnotize me
[sample: Alice (dir. Woody Allen, 1990); voice: Mia Farrow as Mrs. Alice Tate]

Yes, it's true
Please, breathe deeply, deeply, very deeply
And just concentrate, concentrate
Concentrate, concentrate

At the count of three you will awaken
And remember nothing
You will have no memories of these trance feelings
None
You will not be upset by them
One, you are coming out
Two, you are nearly conscious
Three
[sample: Alice; voice: Keye Luke as Gr. Yang]

There's nothing unusual in you childhood
Let's examine your present life
Let us examine every detail, every detail, every detail

Now tell me what you see
[sample: Alice; voice: Keye Luke as Gr. Yang]

Birth of a Struggle

What would you give for an escape
For freedom
For complete liberty

This is a small group of people
Who haved shared a vision in common.
[sample: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (dir. Steven Spielberg, 1977); voice: Bob Balaban as David Laughlin]

You above everyone else should understand
We can not be free until we have power
How else can we achieve it
[sample: Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (dir. J. Lee Thompson, 1972); voice: Roddy McDowell as Caesar]

Am I Free

Raise your right hand
Do you swear to tell the truth
The whole truth
Nothing but truth

I will answer any questions concerning myself
But it's against my conscience
To give names or to inform about other people

Today it's all monopoly
In a free world they violate the natural rights of every citizen
Am I free to travel
Of course you're free to travel
Only with a passport
Only with a passport
Only with a passport
And free speech, does that exist
[sample: A King in New York (dir. Charlie Chaplin, 1957)]

Ringing Score

Hello, hello, hello...

I Don't Know

I'm on the phone...
Hello?
Hello?!
Arrivederci!
[samples include excerpts from: Casino (dir. Martin Scorsese, 1995); Close Encounters of the Third Kind (dir. Steven Spielberg, 1977)]

You know, sometimes we're not prepared for adversity
When it happens sometimes we're caught short
We don't know exactly how to handle it
Sometimes we don't know
[sample: Julian „Cannonball” Alderley intro to the live version of „Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”, album: Cannonball Adderley Quintet, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy! - Live at „The Club”, 1966 (aaah, classic!)]

This time I'd like to ask you a few questions
That's very important
Do you know who I am
I-I don't know, I don't know
[samples include excerpts from: Brazil (dir. Terry Gilliam)]
Is it true
I don't know, I-I don't know, I don't know
Are you being coy
Well, I don't know
Don't get me mad
We only wanna ask you a couple of questions
Do you know him
I really don't know
Who else was with you
I-I don't know
What is that mean
I don't know, I don't know, I don't know
I really don't know
Do you think I have something to do with this
Don't be afraid
Do you understand
I'm trying to help, that's all
but you must cooperate
One, two...

Alright, let's start all over again
Do you have anything to say
I don't know, I-I don't know, I don't know
I need some information
I want you to tell me the truth
I want to just be able to trust you
You know, it's about trust
Do you understand
Do you understand
I don't know
Sometimes I don't know all the answers
Perhaps this photograph will refresh your memory
Who else was with you, who else was with you
Do you think I have something to do with this
Don't be afraid
Do you understand
I'm trying to help, that's all
But you must cooperate

I asked you a question
I heard your question
Can you help me
What's your opinion
What do we do now
Do you realize the danger that you and your friend have risked
I'm trying to understand what is happening to you
Don't you remember
I know, I know
One, two, three, four

Do you think I have something to do with this
Look in my eyes, look-look in my eyes
You know me, you know me
Please, please, help me, help me, help me
What do you want
I need some information
You don't understand

I absolutely refuse

Our Dance

( Featuring Charlotte Savary )

It's a story
But that's why I'm here
To tell you stories
So picture the scene
Let's begin

The turn of the day
When all music fools come out to play
Until the drunk turn of night

So many stories to hear
So many cheeks to greet
And beautiful faces unseen

So many stories to hear
So many cheeks to greet
And beautiful faces unseen

What they were building
Well no one could say

At the turn of the night
We all wander and juggle in the lights
Until every floor is soaked through

Such crazy behaviours
Such noise in our ears
Let's all change gear

Such crazy behaviours
Such noise in our ears
Let's all change gear

I feel the need to express something
But I don't know what it is I want to express
Or how to express it
[sample: Interiors (dir. Woody Allen, 1978); voice: Mary Beth Hurt as Joey]

Before this night ends
I will mingle and find you
Until your hand is in my hand

So much sweat and laughter
So much for electric beats
And a spark when you come so sweet

So much sweat and laughter
So much for electric beats
And a spark when you come so sweet

Thank you for a lovely evening
Thank you for a lovely evening…
Goodnight it's been charming

At the turn of the day
When words become syllables
Will you remember our dance

I ask myself that question all the time

At the turn of the day
When words become syllables
Will you remember our dance

Ah, you remember that
Something I should never forget

What happened then
We didn't know what was going to happen

We now resume our regularly scheduled program

Stay Tuned

A radio network
An empire upon an empire
I make no promises
News on the March
With one purpose only
To point out and make public the dishonesty
Now in complete control of the government of this state
There's only one man who can rid the politics of this state of the evil domination of...
Yeah... hello
[samples: Citizen Kane (dir. Orson Welles, 1941); voices: Orson Welles as Charles Foster Kane and Joseph Cotten as Jedediah Leland]

Walk the line

Today's story is about a
Kid with a great future
But he had something more important
He had heart
And now, ladies and gentlemen...
The makers of Human Emotions
We interrupt this program
To bring you a special news bulletin
[sample: Radio Days (dir. Woody Allen, 1987)]

Yes, one, two
The truth you can't handle the truth
It parades right in front of you
Tell me what you wanna do
Be on top of your game so what I call this
A pause quick to smash with pressure on the heartless
So every day I gotta walk they line, line
You gotta tell me how you're feeling the rhyme
I gotta tell you how you're feeling the rhyme
I said, you gotta hear me how I'm feeling the rhyme

The truth you can't handle the truth
It parades right in front of you
Tell me what you wanna do
Be on top of your game so what I call this
A pause quick to smash with pressure on the heartless
So every day I gotta walk they line, line
You gotta tell me how you're feeling the rhyme
I said, I gotta tell you how you're feeling the rhyme
You know, you gotta hear me how I'm feeling the rhyme

Looking at my casio
About that time to take some military action
You I got's to shine
And the only way to do it is to stay fluent wit the rhyme
So I'ma stay on the grind plus walk the thin line
I gots to get mine whether it's straight or doing crimes
I'm a motivate like a guide dog leads the blind
Through this shit hole planet I'm searching to try to find
A reason to stay alive crossfadin' to survive
On coming obstacles gotta pocket a piece of the pie
Wild wild west I gottem reaching for the sky
When I rock it to the top of the mountain devines
What they call me so follow me all in together now
Provide for the rest of the genre testing my limits
But I've invested into a life sentence of this
And I'm meant for this shit it's the others and wax tailor
We're bringing it from the soul like our first name was dela

The truth you can't handle the truth
It parades right in front of you
Tell me what you wanna do
Be on top of your game so what I call this
A pause quick to smash with pressure on the heartless
So every day I gotta walk they line, walk the line
You gotta tell me how you're feeling the rhyme
I gotta tell you how you're feeling the rhyme
I said, you gotta hear me how I'm feeling the rhyme

‘Cause the truth you can't handle the truth
It parades right in front of you
Tell me what you wanna do
Be on top of your game so what I call this
A pause quick to smash with pressure on the heartless
So every day I gotta walk they line, the line
You gotta tell me how you're feeling the rhyme
You know, I gotta tell you how you're feeling the rhyme
You know, you gotta hear me how I'm feeling the rhyme

To all my people this is it
Hey kid walk straight master your high
Or be a bystander lost in this catacomb of a labyrinth
Let me take it back past light styles using my lantern cause
I set up rhymes for the decoy
I'm the other brother watch the Mc's we destroy
In this binary operation what you're facing
My man wax tailor and the big o wit flows creating
A galaxy of planet seeds for the world to see
This beautiful thing but deadly like a sword swing
Animation frequencies run faster than mercury
With a telegram to let you know you're not the man
Examine the hologram we'll see you soon
Switch the tune as we put the self control and throw a sonic boom
Of subject matter your heart will shrivel up in summation to us
It's supernatural when we discuss

The truth you can't handle the truth
It parades right in front of you
Tell me what you wanna do
Be on top of your game so what I call this
A pause quick to smash with pressure on the heartless
So every day I gotta walk they line, walk the line
You gotta tell me how you're feeling the rhyme
I gotta tell you how you're feeling the rhyme, yo
I said, you gotta hear me how I'm feeling the rhyme

‘Cause the truth you can't handle the truth
It parades right in front of you
Tell me what you wanna do
Be on top of your game so what I call this
A pause quick to smash with pressure on the heartless
So every day I gotta walk they line, walk the line
You gotta tell me how you're feeling the rhyme
You said, I gotta tell you how you're feeling the rhyme
You said, you gotta hear me how I'm feeling the rhyme

So come on
Mic mic mic mic
One two one two
Microphone check
One two one two...

*** Thanx a lot to Laurent for this one ***

A Woman's Voice

We have some very interesting guest for us this evening...
Hey, ok, now a song for you...

Uuuh...

It was a woman's voice
And it was such an anguished and heart-wrenching sound
I was totally arrested by its sadness
I closed my eyes for a few minutes
And that's when the dream must have come
[sample: Another Woman (dir. Woody Allen, 1988); voice: Gene Rowlands as Marion Post]

Then the disk on the stereo twanged off and out
And in the short silence before the next one came on
She suddenly came with a burst of singing
[sample: A Clockwork Orange (dir. Stanley Kubrick, 1971); voice: Malcolm McDowell as Alex DeLarge)

Uuuh...

???
[sample: unidentified]

We must go, go at once before henri catch you here
??? I thought you wanted to make the old boy jealous
Not anymore, he's threaten to kill you on sight
??? you don't think he would go that far, do you
Of course he will!
Oh, will you go before it's too late, before he shoots you today...
[sample: unidentified]

Don't you remember

Don't you remember what happened
They're making me ill with their ugly words in my ugly dreams
Tell her to stop it, to go away and leave me alone

Don't you remember
Don't you remember what happened

How did you know about my troubled sleep
I've never told a soul about my nightmares
Night after night, coming into my dreams
Whining, complaining, trying to make me feel guilty

Don't you remember what happened

Night after night, coming into my dreams
Whining, complaining, trying to make me feel guilty

[sample: Family Plot (dir. Alfred Hitchcock, 1976); voice: Cathleen Nesbitt as Julia Rainbird)

How I Feel

[vocal sample: Nina Simone – Feeling Good (album: I Put a Spell on You, 1965)]

On the stage please
They're all waiting for you

Birds flying high, you know how I feel
Sun in the sky, you know how I feel
Breeze drifting on by you know how I feel
It's a new dawn, it's a new day
It's a new life for me
Yeah, it's a new dawn, it's a new day
It's a new life for me

D-Do you have anything to say
I-I have this to say
I have something very important to say to you, please
I-I-I think he wants to be heard, that's all
Ok, let's hear you

I'm talking about my life
I can't seem to get that throught to you
I'm not just talking about one person
I'm talking about everybody
[sample: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (dir. Milos Forman, 1975); voice: William Redfield as Dale Harding]

What do you mean
You know what I'm talking about

Behind The Disguise (Closing)

( Featuring Marina Quaisse )

Tailor, Tailor
I don't know what this is all about

What kind of music do you play
[sample: Ragtime (dir. Milos Forman, 1981); voice: Brad Dourif as Younger Brother]

Oh, you wanna know
Yes, if you don't mind
There's something I'd like you to listen to
Yes it's my new long player

What a lovely souvenir from the twentieth century
[sample: Beneath the Planet of the Apes (dir. Ted Post, 1971; voice: Charlton Heston as Taylor]

It's doomed to failure!
Perhaps this time
And the next
Maybe
But you keep trying
Well I did my best
And I was very ably assisted by my colleagues
Thank you my friends for everything you did

Hope & Sorrow

Once upon a past

How shall I begin my story that has no beginning
(Quote from the movie Salt of the earth)

The sampler, as well as the turntable
Were principal tools largely responsible
For the birth and development of hip-hop

With a sampler any drum beat, any guitar riff
Any sound that could be recorded
Could be used as part of a new composition
A new contextualization
The recording you are listening to now is an example

The Way We Lived

( Featuring Sharon Jones )

Now, wait a minute
Do you realize what you're saying
Oh, I know what I'm saying
(Quote from the movie 10 Rillington Place)

I'm lying here the bed's white
Someone turns off the light
There in the dark I start to cry
It all comes back to me

The way we lived our lives
And all the things we never feared

We were not like all of them
We didn't work we didn't worry
All we had was money, money
All we ever had was fame and fun

When I look at me then
When I look at me now
I can understand the fall
But I'll never know how

There in the dark I cry
It all comes back to me now

Whether it was by substance
Whether it was by car or
If I fell in the distance
Or if I thought a war
I cannot remember
If I was shot in the back
Or If I drowned in my bath

Now in this bed all day
Now in this bed all night
I still have my moment
When they bring me out

It is all that's left now
Of this fearless mind

A blink of my eye and
Some times she smiles
This white angel over me
This angel touching me sometimes

The way we lived our lives
And all the things we never feared

There in the dark I cry
It all comes back

The Games You Play

When I was a kid
We used to play a game
I think you know the rules of our game
I have no time to play games

Sometimes I flow staccato
Strip you of vibrato
While you be acting macho
I try and switch it up
I see the games you play
And the traps you lay
Not fit to fall in
But I let you play them anyway

Sometimes I flow staccato
Strip you of vibrato
While you be acting macho
I try and switch it up
I see the games you play
And the traps you lay
Not fit to fall in
But I let you play them anyway

Sit, hear the clock tick
Watch the leaves on the plant flick
From the fan above, the room and I lit
Head trip, deliberate
Cease fighting the feeling and submit, flow with it
Like the path pre exists in hidden codes Masonic
They peep us like a web cam from the pyramid's attic
Passed from hand to hand, let's say coincidence
Or better yet, sixth sense
My instincts telling me to back up from that handshake that was intense
My instincts telling me to back up from that handshake that was intense

Brush it off and commence
Blame it on myself tripping
'Til the shit hits the fan
'Cause I steered from the plan
About face, and Billy Jean step into place
Throw my coat on the hook
Recap the time that I wasted
I know that spitting's a bad habit
But I can't help the taste
Still searching for the clues as it becomes a cold case
Procrastinator
'Til I think to remove the sheet from your face
Reveal the naysayer

Sometimes I flow staccato
Strip you of vibrato
While you be acting macho
I try and switch it up
I see the games you play
And the traps you lay
Not fit to fall in
But I let you play them anyway

Sometimes I flow staccato
Strip you of vibrato
While you be acting macho
I try and switch it up
I see the games you play
And the traps you lay
Not fit to fall in
But I let you play them anyway

How could you do this to me
Me, me, me, me
Don't you ever get tired of thinking about your dope, greedy small self

Now you ain't saying nada
Sweating, getting hotta
Change your tune, why botha
I'm bought to rip you up
Such a control freak
You mouth the word's I speak
You question me, but you ain't even listening
You're world is make believe
But I keep pretending that i'm flexible
So you think your will's got me bending
Putting all your energy into negativity
You holding over me while you steady scheming

But I'm making moves
While you're sleeping and dreaming
Of being larger than life
You own hype you believing
Well now, you've been faking the funk since the beginning
Too many chapters in now to rewrite and fix the ending
Besides, you question what kind of message that be sending
That you's a chump, punk butt, so what
I care not of the role you choose to play
By the way
I'm sure of a beginning and an end
But everything in between is all grey
All grey, all grey, all grey

Sometimes I flow staccato
Strip you of vibrato
While you be acting macho
I try and switch it up
I see the games you play
And the traps you lay
Not fit to fall in
But I let you play them anyway

Sometimes I flow staccato
Strip you of vibrato
While you be acting macho
I try and switch it up
I see the games you play
And the traps you lay
Not fit to fall in
But I let you play them anyway

I don't understand this game

Tune

Sometimes I get a tune in my head like that
And pretty soon I hear somebody else humming it too

I think tunes jump from head to head
(Sample from : Shadow of a Doubt - 1943)

The Man With No Soul

( Featuring Charlotte Savary )

I'd be happy to face
The coming of your disgrace
You never seem to erase
Some sort of bitter taste
In it for the money
But you will have to pay
Or die chocking on cherry
And with it be buried

The man without ear
The man without heart
The man with no spine
The man with no soul

You're the man without friends
Leading a small life
Just trying to hide out
Your lack of any talent
I'll be happy to face
The coming of your disgrace

The man without ear
The man without heart
The man with no spine
The man with no soul

You'll end up alone

Radio Broadcast

Hello, hello Mr. Tailor
What do, what do, what do you want
Turn on the radio
I'm talking to you
I'm talking to you
You're being grotesque
The radio, remember make it work
Radio, it tends to induce various
Get high, slow down
Now it's pretty late

Why don't you, uh, switch on the radio
I refuse to discuss it anything
So, please, please, you must
Please, please, don't treat me like a mental patient
Do you believe them
Not for a second
Do you realise what this mean
Don't look for it Tailor
That's the radio
Thank you, Mr. Tailor
Then suddenly

Positively Inclined

(Featuring A.S.M & Marina Quaisse)

The beat of the drum that goes in the pulse beat of the young braves
Now
(Beastie Boys)
Clap your hand to the beat
(Dj grand wizard theodore - Live convention '82 (side b))

Who are we, A State of Mind
Funky with the rhymes and positively inclined
And the tailor of the wax got the tracks that's refined
One of a kind sit back and recline

Yo it's the w-a-x to the tailor
Combined with the crew that bought you cosmic flavour
A State of Mind
And we came to invade you
Saver the raiders of mics and cross faders
On our way to the neighbouring nation
Craving the taste of this great innovation
Pain termination with the brain stimulation
And raising the stakes with an aching sensation

It's inspiration, like the wax on the tables
Insulation, like what's wrapped round a cable
Intonation, treble bass and
Devil chasing with the rebel nation
Heavy crates and the rhyme books near me
Minds gone weary but the lines come clearly
Einstein's theory, answer to your query
We equal MC squared can you hear me

A State of Mind
Funky with the rhymes and positively inclined
And the tailor of the wax got the tracks that's refined
One of a kind sit back and recline

And I'm the g-r-e-e to the n
Mean with the pen fiend for beats and blends
To increase them ends souls been sold
Slow your roll don't fold your scrolls
And that gold you hold ain't shit if you don't know
Your own motivation racing through the console
Insert a turn of phrase last word bar six initiates the phase

Now shift focus
Cloud shit smokers
Loud hit hocus
Pocus who the dopest and I hope this
Quote sits note this
Console blows and it's just too much to cope with hopeless
Oh shit and now the ropes ripped
Or should I say microphone chord oh Lord
With the samurai sword, all aboard
And swarm the stores like some Mongol hordes

Cause is f to the u-n-k to the y
P to the o-e-t and I'm fly
And the way that we flow on mics is sky high
Leaving no seats free and not a single eye dry

Yeah yeah, A State of Mind
Funky with the rhymes and positively inclined
And the tailor of the wax got the tracks that's refined
One of a kind sit back and recline

Development arresting, yeah, enveloped in the session
Yeah, yeah, keep it mellow no aggression
Making it fresh like a tribe called quest
Cause we dwelling on this section
And if you swellheaded and stressing
Then leave those fellers in recession
Fade says go come to the show and watch the ASM flow

And now you know, A State of Mind
Funky with the rhymes and positively inclined
And the tailor of the wax got the tracks that's refined
One of a kind sit back and recline

Yeah that's right, A State of Mind
Funky with the rhymes and positively inclined
And the tailor of the wax got the tracks that's refined
Space and time bends the bass and line

Sometimes

There can be no disgrace
For the true expression of Love
That without it, a man can be coarsened and degraded
In mind, body and soul

Oh I've searched it once
But there is no love anywhere
One cannot find love by searching for it
It comes to us unbidden
Then we give it to others

Yes
Would you play something gay
Yes

Madwreck :
Yeah so we back again
It's a whole new adventure
As we travel to the center of the earth
Ain't to much I ain't seen
From Paris out to Cali
And all in between
Just another day in the life of dream chasing
Chilling back stage at the el ray
We blazing with aceyalone
And the crowd goes crazy
When we entered the stage
Like thirty-six chambers

Rearrange the sound
Sampling's endangered
Keyboards make me bored
And quite angered
Gotta get the paper son
No more of these wack labels
Gonna jerk me around
I don't wait for no one nobody
Except my brother and my honey
I'll be damned if they try to get away with the money
I don't play that shit
Nah Johnny don't play that
You slip one by me
Prepare for the payback

The aerial attack make you get down like André Three thousand style
Find yourself spit the metal they felt when you was battling but what for
I'm just unravelling the form of the plot that pause and pops
Hold my complication simple no not
Tales of forgotten memories my city yall

Get the number hollar at me and call
And get an answering machine
Some rocking lean and get dream teamed
What's that disappointed because you wasn't on top from city blocks
I don't be up in spots I'm on that why not sit at home
With a shot glass like a sawed off and shine like flav's clock
Burn slow from the clean spit clorox
And stay hazardous man, just imagine this

Beyond Words

So that what we're really talking about here is
The two aspects of the consciousness of words
[sample: Alice (dir. Woody Allen, 1990)]

I don't understand the word you use
Please, wait a moment, I want to talk to you

It's not the kind of thing that's easy to talk about

To Dry Up

( Featuring Charlotte Savary )

It's so out of sight
This time, this place
This space in the open
Where we would lay
Outside the sky is black
In the middle of July
Unstable nature
Damn our behaviours

When the clouds will part
The leaves will pop
Their nested drops
Under curtains of pouring light

Take shelter in summer
Nothing's safe anymore
"There's no more weather"
Mutters the old bore
"But I like to sit in the rain"
Says Anna behind the glass
Her mother's in pain
"Don't go out on your own, darling"

When the clouds will part
The leaves will pop
Their nested drops
Under curtains of pouring light

A window has broken
Shattered open
We had to blind it
And now the hall is dark
Neon light in summer
Chill out or simmer
There's no more weather
But in our school books

When the clouds will part
The leaves will pop
Their nested drops
Under curtains of pouring light

When the clouds will part
Don't wait for me
I will stay long
Under this sun
To dry up, to dry up

We be

Watts Prophets :
I look at the moon so full and so bright
And then at the fireplace with it flickering light
And realised why this world would never be right
Then I through another lump on the fire

Ursula Rucker :
We be, uh huh
We be, hmm hmm

We be
Travelling down the highway of the enemy
We be
Joining the endless convoy of cultural hegemony
We be
Missing the forest for the trees 'cause
We can't see the evils that men do on TV
In the movies, overseas and right here on our streets
We be
Opting for vain glory over humility
We need, we need to break the convoy line
Get the hell off the highway
Take the road less travelled
‘Cause that moral fiber you thought was so tightly woven
It's unravelling, it's unravelled
I hate to tell y'all, it's unravelled

Watts Prophets :
Why do you insist on keeping us caged
You know all that does intensified rage
The world know this is the time
And all power to the people
Power to the people

Ursula Rucker :

We be
Say, I'm standing on my soapbox again
Say, I'm one of those conscious artist
Talking that "change the world" shit again
Say, I might be just a bit too dramatic
Slash overzealous about what I see
As the human spirit's dive into uncertainty
Say what you like, say what you like
'Cause I'll be all those things you say
All night and all day
Before I allow myself and soul
To wither away into, indistinctness
Live a half-life of blissfull ignorance
Never take another chance, another chance
Do the latest dance with the devil
And lose my dreams for all we could be
Lose my dreams for all we could be
We be

Watts Prophets :
Why do you insist on keeping us caged
You know all that does intensified rage
The world know this is the time
And all power to the people
Power to the people

Ursula Rucker :

We be
Many, so many
Many, like the number of death threats
That now come used to get

We be
Many, oh so many
Many, like the multitude of souls lost in the wars of men
Over gold, over power, over die and hate

We be
Many, so so many
Many, like the lies of pell the truth
The coward lies of profits and power bungers
Told to a cryer faith
To steal land to oppressed people
We be, the oppressed peoples

We be
We be
Why can't we be
More peaceful
Why can't we be
Nicer to one another
Why can't we be
We be
What we were meant to be
Love

Watts Prophets :
Why do you insist on keeping us caged
You know all that does intensified rage
The world know this is the time
And all power to the people
Power to the people

Ursula Rucker :

We be
We be, uh huh, hmm, hmm

That Case

I want to close that case and sign it out
(quote from "Soylent Green")

Wanna ask you a few questions
I must warn you
Anything you say may be used against you
You realize of course
This makes you in a complice
Did you hear something
That's a rather difficult question
I'm convinced
That there is a brain behind that case

There Is Danger

Growing up in a slum neighborhood where the crime rate is amongst the highest in the nation is not easy
But I think in this instance I would have to be out of my mind
Not to recommend that you be sent to the asylum for the criminally insane at Methuen

There is danger
There is danger

What we sell are hidden truths
Our territory is our mind, our merchandise is fear

There is danger
There is danger

???
I hope you'd like what you see

I feel that at any second
Something terrible is gonna happen

There is danger
There is danger

*** Thanx a lot to Benjamin for this one ***

Alien In My Belly

( Featuring Charlotte Savary )

Alien in my belly, as I wake up every morning
Alien in my belly, like a clock always early
It crawls deep inside of me reminder of your loss
Biting on my insides to leave and empty room

Piece by piece
Leaving a bruise
Piece by piece
Leaving a bruise
Hum hum hum
Hum hum hum

Alien in my belly soon reaching my heart
Alien in my belly tearing it apart
Sure soon there will be nothing left to chew on
Sure enough there will be nothing left to be

Piece by piece
Leaving a bruise
Piece by piece
Leaving a bruise

Please little beast, let me go
Please little beast, let go of me...

In The Mood For Life

Dragon chasers

It has been a while
Since I've seen you smile
I'm even wondering
If I ever knew you at all

You've been chasing time
You say that you are fine
But I guess what's inside
Is darker than you are

Dragon chasers
Will make the headlines
Dragon chasers
Will make the headlines

You're not to blame
It's this world we're living in
Where presidents do cocaine
And sad men seek the dragon

You're not so strong
Empowered by the dragon
Just a lost lost soul
Into oblivion

Dragon chasers
Will make the headlines
Dragon chasers
Will make the headlines

B-Boy on Wax

( Speech Defect & Wax Tailor )

When the big dogs gather and snap their jaws
With big boss matters this cat is lost
Left with low batteries acting soft
For a starter I have a beef with some vegetables

I go gazpacho on them like a tap dancer
Suckers caught running put them in ambulances
Advancing elephants leaving big tracks
Ain't clearing them Linus leave 'em on wax

While label rats crying in their coco puffs
I'm still untouchable like Alfred Nobel grub
Making hits screaming "hold them up!"
And go gold rushing for Chernobyl stuff

On girls lips like lip gloss always
Shining like the LED's on my SP all day
Game is sick, need of rescue, and first aid
Our shit spinning your hat and your jersey

Suckers trying to step to the up most elevated
Boogie B dope shit I medicate it
Take two of these and stop calling
I only rock mics when my tummy starts growling

Wrarr! Wrarr! I hit 'em in the eye socket
Rappers so played out like a game of croquet
I hit the crates for the boom shit
And can't really care if label dudes approve it

On a quest to destroy rap
They say yall is the future
But where are the droids at
C3-P0, see me be yo
Boogie B you got freaky flows

Loops I choose to get III on
Wax Tailor hold me down with the real strong
Grooves with the soul intact
You feel the boom the bap 'cause we sampled that!

If we see a cigarette butt we picking it up
Now you wanting my money man you tripping and stuff
Looking for the breaks and digging them up
It's the life that we know and we living it up

If we see a cigarette butt we picking it up
Now you wanting my money man you tripping and stuff
Looking for the breaks and digging them up
It's the life that we know and we living it up

And I'm going to get it (I'm going to get it I'm going to get it I'm going to get it)
I don't want a freed man's idea of justice (of justice of justice of justice)
I want a little of the system's idea of justice (justice justice)
From the bottom looking up, not not not from the top looking down (down)

I'm also a man of heart and blood and soul
Heart and blood and soul
Heart and blood and soul
And I'm not gonna do it (do it)
Heart, heart and blood and soul (soul)
Heart and blood and soul (soul)
Heart, heart and blood and soul (soul)

Well he's got a soul of his own
Just, little piece of a big soul (big soul big soul)

Do you know it's being strangled? (strangled?)
One big soul that belongs to everybody

Hmm there's no pity
Hmm there's no pity…

Dry Your Eyes

( Sara Genn & Wax Tailor )

I would describe myself
As the landscape I buried
My mother's face
As she carried me
How her water raged and emptied

I would describe myself
As the colourfield I married
My New York pages
How they prepared my sheets
And the dirges caged and cared for me

Dry your eyes
Those tears are all you're given
It's no surprise now
Your heaven's what you're living in

Whenever autie moves around
Her dress makes a curious sound
They trail behind her up the floor
And trundle after through the door
(Sample from : Auntie's skirts - R.L. Stevenson)

Dry your eyes
Those tears are all you're given
It's no surprise now
Your heaven's what you're living in

Dry your eyes
Those tears are all you're given
It's no surprise now
Your heaven's what you're living in

Until Heaven stop the rain

( Mattic & Wax Tailor )

Alright
What the hell is this
Bad news

Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
until heaven stop stop the rain
Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
Until Heaven come up and stop the rain yo

Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
until heaven stop stop the rain
Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
Until Heaven come up and stop the rain
Come up and stop the rain
Come up and stop the rain

Optimism, optimism, optimism
Optimism in my heart
Ah child of God
A couple of years ago my life was falling apart
Job that I was working didn't want me no more
Four, four months later some nigga's kick down my door
Denied unemployment pay, bills everyday
In a separate room with myself is where I laid
In the mist of foreclosure my people a cloud hovered
And rained on my head non stop is how I suffered

Had two daughters
Biological was outstanding
My stepdaughter she hated me misunderstandings
The fire fanning, should have been with her dad
Half a year later my marriage was really bad
All I had was this music everything else I'm losing it
Hoping when these doors close shut, some others open up
It's just the same old song, without the singing
So I pull my hood over my mind for stormy evenings

Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
until heaven stop stop the rain
Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
Until Heaven come up and stop the rain yo

Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
until heaven stop stop the rain
Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
Until Heaven come up and stop the rain
Come up and stop the rain
Come up and stop the rain

*** Sample ***

I asked God if he could take the rain away today
But he ain't answer so I said OK
The function of the sky was grey and needed coloring
Other then a peep in the night so now my brother men

Keep twisting, attitude shifting and bending
Hell I am pretending, for levels lacking the sending of a challenge just to change your life
Stories to memories, more knowledge to read at night, become your history

For years and years
Crystal ball is clear
Watching my life inside of it I have no fear to tell ya
Man it's more to life than your idea
Wisdom man it grows like buildings holding careers
We either talk to the next man or the Reverend
How we doing wrong not right starts at eleven
Talk to my daughter about life mainly the seven given birth
On Earth as it is in Heaven

Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
until heaven stop stop the rain
Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
Until Heaven come up and stop the rain yo

Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
until heaven stop stop the rain
Until heaven, until heaven, until heaven
Until Heaven come up and stop the rain
Come up and stop the rain
Come up and stop the rain

Leave It

( Dionne Charles & Wax Tailor )

Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it
Leave it
Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it

Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it
Leave it
Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it

Oh that's right I'll leave it
Leave it
Gonna leave it
That's right I'll leave it

Loved your kiss
When it came with a gift
That was so hard to win
I put in the time
Until I made you mine
Was that so much of a sin

Could have had a devil in your bed
You could have had an angel in your head
Could have had a debate with wit and charm
Could have had a goddess on your arm

But I won't be your doormat
I won't be moulded like that
I won't be here to the bitter end
'Cause I won't be your girlfriend

Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it
Leave it
Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it

Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it
Leave it
Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it

Oh that's right I'll leave it
Leave it
Gonna leave it
That's right I'll leave it

I put in the time
Until I made you mine
Was that love with a kiss
When it came with a gift

Could have had a devil in your bed
You could have had an angel in your head
Could have had a debate with wit and charm
Could have had a goddess on your arm

But I won't be your doormat
I won't be moulded like that
I won't be here to the bitter end
'Cause I won't be your girlfriend

Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it
Leave it
Just 'cause you're hot you can't believe it...

Go Without Me

( Charlotte Savary )

I am trapped in a chair
A lump in my throat
There's a tear on my eyelid
Waiting to tumble

Leave me to me
And leave not a trace
You've the eye of a dog
Caught in the headlights

Leave me behind
A burst of sadness
I'll go to the bathroom
To clean up my mess

Just go without me
Don't wait around for me
Don't wait around for me
Just go without me
Don't wait around for me
Don't wait around for me

Just go without me
Don't wait around for me
Don't wait around for me
Just go without me
Don't wait around for me
Don't wait around, around, around

I am trapped in a chair
I cannot move at all
Filled up with desires
Of remote places

I want to go somewhere
I want to cross seas
But what can I reach
In this placeless race

I want to go elsewhere
To live and to change
Let's call this off
I'm not cut out for this stuff

Just go without me
Don't wait around for me
Don't wait around for me...

This Train

( Ali Harter & Voice & Wax Tailor )

Everybody has a price
Everybody has a price
But sometimes the price doesn't always mean money

Tell me who is running this game
Check the roles I wanna know who's riding this train
Tell me who is running this game
Check the roles I wanna know who's riding this train

It feels like each day crawls along
Can only see the wrong in a situation
As the picture's playing
No dedication or conviction in what I'm saying
Weight laying heavy on my soul
Invisible
Manage to keep it moving
But don't know who's in control
Life used to be so beautiful
Could appreciate
How the sun illuminates the smallest thing
And motivates the birds to sing at the crack of dawn
At the crack of dawn
Spread their wings
And take on a new flight before the night falls
Calls them back to sleep
So they retreat under the sheet of indigo
That glows from the harvest moon
I paint a picture with this tune
And connect with everyone in the room
Who wears a smile over their gloom
Trying to sweep it to the corner with a broom
And yet the melancholy looms
Secretly anticipating it's finale soon
It has to let up, before I give up

Tell me who is running this game
Check the roles I wanna know who's riding this train
Tell me who is running this game
Check the roles I wanna know who's riding this train

Tell me who is running this game
Check the roles I wanna know who's riding this train

We're supposed to be so strong
Instead of fragile creatures who admit their weakness
Reaching out for help when times are bleakest
We hold it in and pretend
It's the opposite of what we think it is
Instincts, inset for a reason
To avoid is treason
Involution's own means of prevention
Keeping you from tasting the poison
It's natural selection
Yet intelligence is testing boundaries
Why am I chasing "happy" when I have companionship
Success and money
Aml the things I thought would fill the empty
But now it runs its course so deep inside of me
I silently scream in agony
While my friends and family watch on happily
They can't see the clouds above me
Overcast, blocking sunny
I laugh it off like it's funny
Who wants to be the lone wolf feeling crummy
Forget the front 'cause actually
You and me may not feel so differently

Tell me who is running this game
Check the roles I wanna know who's riding this train
Tell me who is running this game
Check the roles I wanna know who's riding this train

Fireflies

( Feat. Charlotte Savary )

When she's curled in his arms
Entangled and warm
She thinks, sometimes
That it cannot last
That it cannot last

In the window as the earth goes round
And the air gets thin in the lungs and the hearts of lonely men
Young to old pretend that they live forever
Jewels of the soul that turn into the worst terror
It ain't an error Lord they brighten the skies
Walking with the light in their eyes like fireflies
She hold her love like a statue pose
And he ain't even got a kiss from a rose
So will they let it glow

They never felt it
They never felt it
They never felt it before
Never, never

They'd never let it
They'd never let it
They'd never let it wither
Never, never

They'd never sever
They'd never sever
They'd never want to sever
Never never
We talk about fireflies, fireflies, fireflies, fireflies

One day he'll leave
Or she may go
Away
As long as they stay
Let it be so
Let it be so

He traveled many roads in this land to touch her hand
And experience the love of child woman and man
Together they stand connected talking about this plan
Feeling that the world can't hide, can it all survive
Ah moment in time becomes one in the mind
Ability to open her heart and let it all combine
The strangest life that a couple will find
With rain clouds that be floating around under the sunshine

They never felt it
They never felt it
They never felt it before
Never, never

They'd never let it
They'd never let it
They'd never let it wither
Never, never

They'd never sever
They'd never sever
They'd never want to sever
Never never
We talk about fireflies, fireflies, fireflies, fireflies
Inside of your eyes

As fleeting as a firefly
With the beat of a wing
It could die
The light ending
With its life
With its life

Truth they feeling never lie's ain't it special ya'll
Sitting by the room waiting for that one to call
Selling themselves for life change the aim
The love a color flame straight from the heaven man
How it hang coming together, but can't explain
Ah warm feeling out of control so maintain
And leave a legacy of further intertwine
Moving along with fluttery patterns of fireflies

They never felt it
They never felt it
They never felt it before
Never, never

They'd never let it
They'd never let it
They'd never let it wither
Never, never

They'd never sever
They'd never sever
They'd never want to sever
Never never
We talk about fireflies, fireflies, fireflies
Inside of your eyes

Say Yes

( Featuring ASM )

Come on, Wax Tailor
Wax Tailor on the beat once again
State of mind for the bland
Check it out, say yes, say yes, say yes!

Say Yes if you think that you should speak what you feel
Say Yes for the artists still keeping it real
Say Yes, and if you got the spirit stand tall and say
Yes Yes Y'all... Yes Yes Y'all!

Say No to the bloodsucking downpresser man
Say No if you're ready for some Buckshackalang
Say No if you're fed up and ready to brawl then say
No Way Y'all... No Way Y'all

This one is for the refugees and child soldiers
Carrying the weight of the world upon their shoulders
The homeless and few true microphonists
Not afraid to raise their fists and use the groove against opponents
The horns are for the Haitians and rhyme for Rwanda
Kick it for the Congo on the one for Obama
And bring the drama like a suicide bomber
For the people of Tibet and the Dalai Lama
Ima pass it over 'cause I'm too vexed to keep on..
The kinda crap designed to make you clap yet we weep on
The trees gone, cut, all across the globe
Can't nobody see we've had a Holocaust before
So what's the cost of hope, and that of a democracy
Liberty, freedom and equality, you follow me
A call to peace now's pivotal, lyrical,
Spiritual cleansing of minds the strike's critical

Say Yes if you think that you should speak what you feel
Say Yes for the artists still keeping it real
Say Yes, and if you got the spirit stand tall and say
Yes Yes Y'all... Yes Yes Y'all!

Say No to the bloodsucking downpresser man
Say No if you're ready for some Buckshackalang
Say No if you're fed up and ready to brawl then say
No Way Y'all... No Way Y'all

One, two, three
Condition red. Repeat, condition red.
This is not an exercise
Repeat, this is not an exercise.

Too long have eyes been closed and blindfolded
A new dawn is rising now, the mind's old enough
To know the stuff going on behind our backs
Roll with us, and you might get to find the facts
Mind the gap and lift up your voices
Fists up, rejoice, it's a switch in the choices
We must make, bust fake trust great minds
For the sake of our sons and daughters yo let's ride!
Next up fire pon the wicked dem Kick a blend
One time for the parasites using bricks and pens
To follow whims and exploit fellow man
Stay cloudy, allow me to quote Yellowman with the
"Zunguzungzuguzunguzeng!"
Manipulating roosters , neglecting the hens
Step to the end of the deepest dark forest
Where hands are empty but the souls are victorious

Say Yes if you think that you should speak what you feel
Say Yes for the artists still keeping it real
Say Yes, and if you got the spirit stand tall and say
Yes Yes Y'all... Yes Yes Y'all!

Say No to the bloodsucking downpresser man
Say No if you're ready for some Buckshackalang
Say No if you're fed up and ready to brawl then say
No Way Y'all... No Way Y'all

Young soldiers at attention!
Dig a trench and oh, did we forget to mention..?
We got the Tailor on the tables, reinvention of guerrilla warfare
Dodging silver bullets as we're leaping through the crosshairs
All clear, and ready for attack mode
About to bridge event horizon of the black hole
The last bowl of soup has been slurped
See we gotta come together to make this thing work!

Say Yes if you think that you should speak what you feel
Say Yes for the artists still keeping it real
Say Yes, and if you got the spirit stand tall and say
Yes Yes Y'all... Yes Yes Y'all!

Say No to the bloodsucking downpresser man
Say No if you're ready for some Buckshackalang
Say No if you're fed up and ready to brawl then say
No Way Y'all... No Way Y'all

I Own You

( Charlie Winston & Wax Tailor )

Yes! I'm your house
I got all the mod-cons that you wanted
Granted for the price of a job you hate
Too bad it's too late
To forget where you're at
You have to admit, I own you
Yeah that's true

Hee! Hee! I'm your TV
You pay good cash just to see me
Suck up your time with the lives of others
Mash up your brain to a frozen to a frozen dinner
From lap to lips subliminal clips
Engrave the words on your soul, I own you, I own you

Hey I own you
You know that's true
Oh I own you
And you know that's true

Ha! Ha! I'm your car
Where ever I go is where ever you are
I move at the touch of your toes
Your pride and joy and everyone knows
You're keeping up appearances
For you don't dare to let it show, I own you

Ho! Ho! I'm your phone
You push all my buttons we're never alone
It kills you to leave me at home
Or think of the drivel you'd miss
Without the tender kiss of my tones
That moan and moan and moan and moan...
I own you

Yes I own you
And you know that's true
And I own you
And you know that's true

He! He! I'm your PC
You're all upgraded second reality
Online, I realize I'm helping escape a life benign
Porn and pointless emails to faceless strangers
Now that's a sign, I own you

Hmm I own you
Yeah you know that's true
Oh I own you
And you know that's true, oh

Greenfields

( Feat. Charlotte Savary )

Once there were green fields
Kissed by the sun
Once there were valleys
Where rivers used to run
Once there were blu skies
With white clouds high above
Once there were part of an everlasting love
We were the lovers who strolled through green fields

Green fields are gone now
Parched by the sun
Gone from the valleys
Where rivers used to run
Gone with the cold wind
That swept into my heart
Gone with the lovers
Who let their dreams depart
Where are the green fields
That we used to roam

I'll never know what
Made you run away
How can I keep searching
When dark clouds hide the day
I only know there's nothing here for me
Nothing in this wide world left for me to see

But I'll keep on waiting until you return
I'll keep on waiting until the day you learn
You can't be happy while your heart's on the roam
You can't be happy until you bring it home
Home to the green fields and me once again

Dusty Rainbow From The Dark

Exordium

There once was a boy who lived in a house with his mother
His room was piled high with crates of vinyl records
The boy liked to sit on the floor with his turntable
His records stacked around him and strewn about
At night he could pull his blankets up under his chin
And look around his moonlit room
One day there began a great period of rain
When walking with his mother the boy saw a rainbow in the sky
He asked her what it was
His mother began, "It's what happens when the sun shines through the rain,"
But she soon paused. She looked down at her boy
And up again at the rainbow and thought of a different story
She said, "The rainbow is a path. It leads from dark to light
And from light to dark, it leads to your imagination
If you open your mind you will find your dusty rainbow from the dark"
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
The rainbow is a path
It leads from dark to light
And from light to dark
It leads to your imagination
If you open your mind
You'll find your dusty rainbow
From the dark

Dusty Rainbow

That evening as the boy was climbing into bed
A sadness came over him
His mother studied his face
As she pulled the blankets up under his chin

She went to his record player, pressed the button
And a light came on
The turntable began to spin
And she lowered the needle

Once again you're sad and it's good
You should really see what it is like to hurt
Once you start suffering, enjoy
In the dust you'll start to see the colours
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
It's the sound we hear we make that helps us feel alright
So let the rainbow rise out of the dust

The boy listened carefully
He closed his eyes
Settling into his pillows and blankets
He closed his eyes and imagined a path

Boy you'll find out you should ache, a lot
Going through life not living is worst

It's the sound we hear we make that helps us feel alright
So let the rainbow rise out of the dust
So let the rainbow rise out of the dust

Like An Hourglass

The rain continued the following day
And boy sat in his room playing his records
He had been digging for some time
For something though he wasn't quite sure for what
When his mother came to his room, she found him on the floor
He sat expressionless as if he were bored as children sometimes are
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
She knelt amongst the scattered piles
She asked him if he understood the uniqueness of his life
She explained that moments happen only once
Like an hourglass turned over, not able to be turned again
She said "We are given a life to experience, to feel.
We must be present in these moments"

Only Once

For only once in your life
Only once in your
For only once in your life
Only once in your life

Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it, let's hear it
Relax take it easy, don't get excited

One thing you might look at me as I really am
I, I don't understand
It's not easy
And, and that's something nobody can change, not even you
You could've become a serious composer
And, and what have you become, a jukebox hero
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
For only once in your life
Only once in your
For only once in your life
Only once in your life

Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it, let's hear it
Do it buddy, do it until you're young, you're young

Today, today you will see something you'll never ever see again in your life
Well, this is not a script, there's some real actual life going on here
(Network, 1976)

At the same time

For only once in your life
Only once in your
For only once in your life
Only once in your life

End of sound, beginning of story

Only once
Only once
Only once
Only once

Heart Stop

The boy rummaged through his records
Searching for a clue
Where was this path
How would he find it
He remembered that the rainbow would rise through the dust
Soon he felt drowsy
Hypnotized by the sound of a guitar strumming on an old record
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
I feel my heart stop
I've just got to catch my breath again
I feel my body rock
And tighten, I'm frightened, I'm falling off the edge

It's as if they're calling me
With the cadence of a flame
In the dark they honor me
Blowing storms that know my name

I feel my heart stop
I've just got to catch my breath again
I feel my body rock
And tighten, I'm frightened, I'm falling off the edge

In hieroglyphic vision
The lion kneeling in the reeds
But what is it I'm hunting
That grows from just his seed

I feel my heart stop
I've just got to catch my breath again
I feel my body rock
And tighten, I'm frightened, I'm falling off the edge

If I pretend I'm melting
Melting in the wax
I'll turn the black to colors
With these magic tracks

And I don't have to ever leave
The journey through the deep
As pale and soft as swans
Building monuments to sheep

Sailing the roundabout
Sailing through the deep
Show me what it's all about
The truth to always keep

Something Began To Glow

"But I'm not ready to fall asleep" thought the boy
He struggled with acquiescence his arms heavy
His legs paralyzed like two felled trees
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
The music pushed and pulled, the rhythm chugged
The boy peered into the darkness, blinking
Then something began to glow

A Stop Motion Bloom

Was this a dream, the boy blinked again
Above the record player appeared brightly an arc of coloured light
It hovered, ghost-like
It glowed and pulsed
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
It pumped like a blood-filled heart
It jerked and quivered like a stop-motion bloom

The Sound

It's the sound
Uh yeah gather round because
It's the sound
Uh got's get down because

Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce to this because

Wires and amps to carry the groove
Man, I bet you didn't know it was better for you

Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin

All together in the middle, all together in the middle
Let me bring it back a little, let me bring it back

Headphones carry the groove
Electricity you move
Wires and amps to carry the groove
Marry to move
Falling out the sky with a few that sound

"Turn it up for a second and get down"

Give it to me, another record please
I'm hook to the music with a certain gleam
A head of steam, the stage is a diamond ring
All together with no effort I sing
From another world I'm coming, baby do my thang
When the lights come on it's a shock he brings
Now rock the rhythm with methods that he be living

All the king's women and all the king's men
Couldn't bring the melody together again, I said
His back pop wings like Warren Worthington
X-many things, like a hand grenade
Light a stick of dynamite and lay down in the bed
Put it in your mouth, educate your head
Is it graphic like an animal in traffic
Roadside kill when I activate the skill
All my BPMs, I saw the trees and break the limbs
We build it to the top, giving news of this hip-hop

In The Mirror

The rainbow floated about the room, jaunty
The boy watched its lively vibration
Absorbing the intricacies
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
He jumped up on his bed, striking a pose
And catching his reflection in the mirror
He imagined himself a rock star

Not Alone

The boy lay still, watching the rainbow
"A path from dark to light"
His mother had told him
"A path to his imagination"
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
He closed his eyes and felt his feelings rise
A lifelong sadness enveloped him
And in its wrapping, all his longing
All his heartache emerged
And he was not alone

Down In Flames

Laugh and the world laughs with you
Cry and you cry alone
It's something they'll try to tell you
When they're dishing out the pills
Years roll by like hurricanes
Years go down in flames

Calling the light, and you answer the dark
Love didn't fail, it was only your heart

Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel that
Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel that

Calling your life, with the truth in your face
Love didn't fail, it was only misplaced

Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel that
Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel

Laugh and the world laughs with you
Cry and you cry alone
You'll never die of loneliness
If loneliness is all you've known
Years roll by like hurricanes
Years go down in flames

Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel that
Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel that

Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel that
Tell me if you feel it
Tell me do you feel
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
Laugh and the world laughs with you
Cry and you cry alone
It's something they'll try to tell you
When they're dishing out the pills
Years roll by like hurricanes
Years go down in flames

Laugh and the world laughs with you
You'll never die of loneliness
Years roll by like hurricanes
Years go down in flames
Go down in flames

Time To Go

Tearful, the boy opened his eyes
His cheeks were hot
He wiped his tears and pulled his blankets up under his chin
The rainbow brightened and swooshed from side to side
It doubled in size and overtook the room
Colouring the walls and bedspread
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
Ask me where I'm going
And I'll tell you where I've been
Ask me who I am
And I'll say that I'm your friend
Ask me what I'm doing
And I'll tell you I don't know
Just travelling through life
And now it's time to go

Back when I was just a kid
I used to think the world was big
But really it ain't that big at all
(not at all)

Foreign lands seemed far away
Until I learned the truth one day
In reality the world's quite small
(World so small)

I wanted to sail across the sea
To find another place to be
Where I could live so happily
Where that would be the life of me

I wanted to fly the sky so vast
In a jetplane travelling fast
Looking out the looking glass
Watching the clouds go past

Ask me where I'm going
And I'll tell you where I've been
Ask me who I am
And I'll say that I'm your friend
Ask me what I'm doing
And I'll tell you I don't know
Just travelling through life
And now it's time to go
Now it's time to go

I've been high and I've been low
Seems like everywhere I go
There's a place I could call home
(home sweet home)

Yesterday is in my shadow
And today is a new battle
Tomorrow is the great unknown
(great unknown)

Got my tickets bags are packed
Full steam ahead no turning back
Smoke is white, the coal is black
The engine's pushing off its track

Ship is setting sail again
It's just me against the wind
Well loneliness is my old friend
Who comes to visit now and then

A time will come for all of us
To pass the element of trust
Limb aboard that final bus
That turns our ashes into dust

Ask me where I'm going
And I'll tell you where I've been
Ask me who I am
And I'll say that I'm your friend
Ask me what I'm doing
And I'll tell you I don't know
Just travelling through life
And now it's time, time to go
Now it's time to go
Now it's time to go
Now it's time to go

The walls shrank and expanded
The bed lifted off the floor

Four, walls can't confine him

Bust through the dust
Purple bubbles in the soundtrack
Pull a number out the set and bounce back
Pack an algorithm through a prism and envision inhibitions
Giving way to a synergy of rhythm
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
No more living in fear it's now clear
Eyes wide open he knows that it's near
Feeling overthrows any previous notion
He ad of his sad and his gleeful emotions

The potion made him go "ahhh"
Captivated and created from the energy building his mind made it
Then related to the tools of the student of the school unrelated
Finding himself the long awaited, come on

From the musical instruments
It was made by what they call the lost wax process

Now he's got time on his side
Sand in the hourglass
One, for the wind
Two, for the past and he heard
Three, owls howl with a ?? scowl
Effortlessly older back then "Much younger now"

He's got the hunger now
Wisdom of youth
Bust out the slumber envisioning truth
Like a new paradigm sure to paralyze his mind
Can he handle dismantling space and time

Afraid there might be evil to come
Snap out of it four, three, two, one
Having fun under a spell feeling so numb
And exploring on the run until the sunlight gone

Until the darkness awareness making him paralyzed
To the music he was making right in front of his eyes
For a surprise on the rise so flammable he could burn
But then he slows down in concern to learn

As it turns the whole world becomes his private playground
There's no chance he could manage to keep his heartbeat to stay down

Now the sounds in the temple of his mental breathes daylight (light)
And he's sharp like the pencil of the playwrite (write)
And he blows up the spot like dynamite (night)
Make it tight show the party people what you like

No Regret

The boy felt himself afloat surrounded by colours
Ever so slowly he was moving forward
He looked up and saw an infinite dome of sky and cloud
When he looked down at his feet he saw a path

I'm standing on the heels of summer's dawn
I'm running through the field where all is calm

Close your eyes, hold your breath
This may be the best thing yet
I'll move you, I'll soothe you
No regrets
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
There's a light pressing inside me
While I pray

Are you here
The sound of midnight
The sound of midnight
The sound of midnight
Moving forward
Doing everything we can
Two steps backwards
Into sin

Close your eyes, hold your breath
This may be the best thing yet
I'll move you, I'll soothe you
No regrets

We're moving forward doing all we can
Two steps backwards one foot into sin
As we bask in the next chapter
Will we loose

Are you here

Phonovisions

The boy tasted the twinkling light
He listened to the colours
And if he closed his eyes
The colours brightened and grew pure
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
He watched the notes rise and bow
And the beats align and ready themselves to march
Finally the melody appeared
And performed a dance in front of him

Into The Sky

When the boy awoke the following morning
The rain had gone
He squinted into his sunlit room
There was a new feeling
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
He looked out through his open window
And found his own, new world
The boy climbed out of bed
Went to the window
And looked up into the sky

My Window

In my window
In my window
In my window
In my window

Yeah
I put on my headphones as I plan to escape
That's when I start to see sounds, understanding the shapes
'Cause when life get's bananas in this planet of apes
I'm in my window like the nosey old man in the drapes

Cut it out like an unwanted hand in the safe
Through my blinds, every man glimpse and tamper with fate
Tune the world out, shiftshape phantom of space
Random thoughts on my canvas hold your orbit in place

In my window I keep it crack open just a little so the wind blow
To carry me to places I ain't never been like Indo-nesia
So at my leisure I can float above the leaning tower of Pisa
Without a visa, with this procedure
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
Wild out on instrumentals
Summer down now
Heavy mental take me away
The calgon route
Roam the mind of memories lost
And saw my grandchild
In a future window waiting for a moment like now

In my window
In my window
In my window
In my window

I paint myself blacker
Queen of Sheba
African treasures
My laughter a sax line
Coltrane's Naima
Paint the past and present
Rapped in flatted sevenths
On a blues scale stepping
Stairway to heaven

See myself living my dreams with my eyes open
Far from Gods hope and who never tries coping
It only ties ropes into nooses
Feeling useless when they high sloping
Analyse scoping
So when I

Dash to the window
My pace the same tempo
Of an old love song
Strumming the pain of the banjo
Potted plants and candles
Peep and get cancelled
Willow trees weep on the streets
And frame scandals

Then I start writing bars
Lighting cigars of planet Mars
Dumping ashes that look like falling stars
While the chain that I'm wearing hangs over me
Dips down to sun so when it hangs
It's like a solar eclipse in my window

In my window
In my window
In my window
In my window

From The Dark

The boy's mother came to his room
And found him sitting at his window
"I found the dusty rainbow" he said
"I found it in my crates"
His mother smiled "Yes love.
You found your dusty rainbow from the dark"
Rob from always on the run dot net is so bad and copy paste is a sin
Years have passed, the boy has grown
But he hasn't forgotten his mother's story and his discovery
Those days are behind him now
And his life's song is in its last chorus
Now, in happiness and sadness, he goes back to his records
To dig in the wax, to dig for the dusty rainbow from the dark

Lost The Way

( Lost the way EP )

We have lost the way...

Oh, walking on
Never mind these feelings that I

Oh, riding on
In insanity I linger

Oh, in the ground
I have lost the way to the light

In other times I'll be dreaming I'm part of this
In the streetlights I would not be walking alone

In this land I have lost my way to this light
In this land we have lost our way

We have lost the way...

Seize The Day

( Paris Ost (Klapisch Movie) - Feat. Charlotte Savary )

Hold them close
Petals of a rose
Thorns as well
Friends and foes
Have no fear

Seize the day
I don't mind whatever happens
I don't care whatever happens

Let them burn
Things of cotton
Admire the fire
Things undone
There's applause
There'll be encores
You're sincere
That's what we're
Have no fear

Seize the day
I don't mind whatever happens
I don't care whatever happens

Please stop that boom boom

For the worst

(Feat. Idil)

I'm just a girl, so strong
You're afraid?
Just a girl ready for the worst
And it's too late for reversal now
Ready for the worst

What this would be
Tearing up so infinitely
What you saw in the trenches
What you thought you saw in this blackness
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
I'm just a girl, so strong
You're afraid?
Just a girl ready for the worst
And it's too late for reversal now
Ready for the worst

Look in the mirror
Oh, it's clearer now
All these tears in the darkness we fear
Soon, they'll be gone

I'm just a girl, so strong
You're afraid?
Just a girl ready for the worst
And it's too late for reversal now
Ready for the worst

Beautiful king
Do the world in
'Cause what you saw in me
Is just a memory
And in its place now
Is something worse

I'm just a girl, so strong
You're afraid
Just a girl ready for the worst
And it's too late for reversal now
Ready for the worst
Ready for the worst
Ready for the worst

I thought that y'all and I play
'Cause you live a broad way
Feminine carrying groceries you're gross and retarded
You got ovaries and you're over retarded
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
If there is anyone gonna be taking offense
I don't care, I don't care, I don't care
I'm blaming the pen
But alas give me the mic and I'm showing them what to do
Look at me when I'm on stage I'm a paraplegic
I'm breaking a leg and they're breaking a sweat
Heating them up
Throw in the towel I'm cleaning them up
Easy enough
This is not challenging this is not
I don't have famous friends I just steal
Their fans they ask If I did and I deny it

All I wanna do is bring truth
For my brothers, for my sisters

You're making some very serious charges

???

My mind speed might be brutal
My bitch stick your stin like chinese noodles
I kill nazi fathers was some poppy cockers
Robbing coppers niggers getting killed by tommyknockers

I was the slave revelling the master
Killed the cherry picking niggers sticking out for crackers
I usually run through vagina
The only black nigger doing kung fu with China

Drunken monkey mic style bloody punching fights while
The rest is for fucking up your ugly duckling white child
My core seem evily wicked
I force feed a vegan a chicken
The Blacker the buried the elder the juices
Tough to gather your fairies I kill you with toothpicks one
Rapping the booty after
Kill 'em bitch niggers and african booty scratchers

It's the fast rap back smack
The block hot bomb drop underground
Non pop, locked Comstock like I'm isis the knife
Slicing the prize fighting of mighty Mike Tyson the rhyme titan
I'm David Hasselhoff Michael Knight night riding
I'm Orenthal James Simpson winning the Heisman
Coal mine bloody valentine pick axe, spit raps
Kick facts JVC force big tracks
Not a millennial wrecking the legend
On record since the beginning
I've been in a position to bring in the winning
Living in sin and the bigger the swinging Muhammad Ali
I'm the king of the ring
And I'm being the G.O.A.T. and I'm doing my thing
Rest in peace to the great rope a dope floating stinging
And I'm the illa vanilla killer gorilla monsoon
Castle wolfenstein bitch achtung
Crew glue sniffing where the true
Soup kitchen be from the tape era

My Burn

(Feat. Sara Genn)

Under the stars
A horse with no cart
The world falls apart
We unleash our hearts

Bring the guitars
Untether and capture the dark

I'm leaving
I'm getting out
Can't say where
I'll find my

Mad to the fire
A tumbling desire
Stabbing the wild
Gather the choir

Sharpen the plume
In starlight and release the moon
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
I'm leaving
I'm getting out
Can't say where
I'll find my burn
Can't say where
I'll find my

Soften the bed
Leave all the debt
Promise instead
To rapture a star on the decks

I'm leaving
I'm getting out
Can't say where
I'll find my burn

Can't say where
I'll find my burn

Ecstasy

There is an ecstasy that marks the summit of life
And beyond which life cannot rise
And such is the paradox of living
This ecstasy comes when one is most alive
And it comes as a complete forgetfulness that one is alive
"Jack London"

There is an ecstasy
The summit of life, life, life
There is an ecstasy
The summit of life, life, life, life
An ecstasy
The summit of life, life, life
There is an ecstasy
The summit of life, life, life, life
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
And beyond which life cannot rise
And such is the paradox of living
This ecstasy comes when one is most alive
And it comes as a complete forgetfulness that one is alive

The Chase

(feat. Raashan Ahmad, Mattic)

I'm a, nomadic with old habits that die hard
Breathing in the sun with an open road for outlaws
Stars in animation and facing my own soul
In between chaos and control the rhythm it go
Forth, forth and back sometimes I got to ask
What's the meeting point perhaps
I'm a lost for words and disturb
Gather my nerves and turn the curve
As I part from my kingdom
And snap out of dreaming

And it's seeming like the breathing
Is deceiving this reality
You're free man of the season
I'm tuning in but out of key torn
Between the dream and the road that I'm on
Like a fiend chasing the moon but catching the dawn

Bag in palm mad at my alarm what they don't know
My happiness is so so the universal logo
Is the power of the bro code embrace the pace
Keep up the chase with a smile on my face
Smile on my face

Bring it back now
Keep up the chase
This is ???
Keep up the chase
Faster than the sunlight
Keep up the chase
Keep up the chase
Get out of my face
Get out of my face
Keep up the chase
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
I'm riding in the chaos the universe
It made us out of stardust plus love push it along
I'm singing these songs and being reborn it's just the cycle
Wandering the wind ain't no telling what I might do connect

We the right who move along and past through
Thrillers raise the dead like Michael Jackson do the dance moves
And try to settle down no time to see the town
We just moving over ground to the movement of the sound

And the trees and the flowers and the clouds and the sun
In the breeze and the showers gaining power from the drums
Gotta leave more than hours to devour what's to come
Over seas through the deserts all together back to one

Having fun, get some, fore we be up out your hemisphere
Time to disappear watch us vanish from your atmosphere
Presenting grey matter from the muscle skin and bone
We out like yesterday time to take it back to home

Ladies and Gentlemen
Welcome to the house of wax airport
On behalf of wax airlines and the entire crew
Thank you for joining us
?? by any beats necessary ??
We are looking forward to seeing you on board again
In the near future

So we start again

Bring it back now
Keep up the chase
This is ???
Keep up the chase
Faster than the sunlight
Keep up the chase
Keep up the chase
Get out of my face
Get out of my face
Keep up the chase

Once again

The clock tick all night all day

All night, all day

The Road Is Ruff

(feat. Lee Fields)

Got nothing to trust

Hey to all of you newcomers
Listen to me
I got things to say right now
So you want to be a star
Just listen to me
And you might get far
Yeah you might get far

So get up off your knees
And be the star you wanna be
With a lot of hard word
And a lot of tenacity

You can do it
But the road is ruff
You can do it
But the road is ruff
You can to it
But it's gonna be tough
'Cause the road is ruff
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
Get on the bus
Now get on the train
Get in the taxi
Now get on the plane
Here is your car
Do you know where you are
Five minutes there's an interview
Till you know who you're talking to

Get up off your knees
And be the star you wanna be
With a lot of hard word
And a lot of tenacity

You can do it
But the road is ruff
You can to it
But the road is ruff
You can to it

Heavenly merciful father
What have I gotten myself into
What am I to do

Give me all you got
From the bottom of your soul
Make them want more
That is your goal, yeah

Every word you sing
Your life will depend
Imagine you're on a tightrope
If you drop it's the end

Get up off your knees
And be the star you wanna be
With a lot of hard word
And a lot of tenacity

You can do it
The road is ruff now
You can do it
It's gonna get tough now
I know you can do it

The road is ruff now
Get up you can do it
The road is kinda tough now
I know you can do it
The road is ruff now
Get up you can do it
It's getting just a little bit tough now

Keep on pushing
You can, you can do it
I know you can you can do it
Oh it's getting just a little bit tough now
The road is ruff now
I know you can do it

Bleed Away

(feat. Tricky, Charlotte Savary)

Charlotte Savary :
There's no place
Far enough
To go astray

Tricky :
To go astray

Charlotte Savary :
There's no track
To back pack
I won't look back
At the steps I take

Tricky & Charlotte Savary :
Bleed away
Bleed away
Be the way
You recognise yourself
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
Bleed away
Bleed away
Be the way
With fleeting taste

Tricky :
Ok I bleed away

Charlotte Savary :
I bleed away

Tricky :
Not like my mother's way
It's just another day
That's what my mother say

Tricky :
Life's not really long

Charlotte Savary :
Not really long

Tricky :
Life is moving on
I still bleed away
I feel what Nina say

Tricky & Charlotte Savary :
Bleed away
Bleed away
Be the way
You recognise yourself

Bleed away
Bleed away
Be the way
With fleeting

Tricky :
Yeah I bleed away
I bleed away
It's not very long
'Cause I keep it slow

Charlotte Savary :
There's no place
Wide enough
To stop midway

Charlotte Savary :
There's no track
To fall back
I won't look at my footprints in the sand

Tricky & Charlotte Savary :
I'll carry on with the land

Tricky :
I'll carry on

Tricky & Charlotte Savary :
I'll carry on with the land

Tricky :
And the land

Tricky & Charlotte Savary :
Bleed away
Bleed away
Be the way
You recognise yourself

Bleed away
Bleed away
Be the way
With fleeting taste

Buckwild

(feat. Idil)

Buckwild, buckwild, buckwild

Insane I cut the chord
Out of this ward and out of control

We might be two inside my head
It's true
Three or four and maybe more

Buckwild, buckwild, buckwild

Out of hand or overrun
I'm bullet-proof
A smile for miles
And nothing much to prove
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
Too young to choose
Too young to lose

Buckwild, buckwild, buckwild

Too young, too young
Buckwild, buckwild, buckwild
Too young, too young

Boys in slow motion
Fill the space
Weird complexion on my face

We might be two inside my head
It's true
Three or four and maybe more

Out of hand or overrun
I'm bullet-proof
A smile for miles
And nothing much to prove

Out of hand or overrun
I'm bullet-proof
A smile for miles
And nothing much to prove

Too young to choose
Too young to lose

Buckwild, buckwild, buckwild
Too young, too young
Too young, too young

Worldwide

(feat. Ghostface Killah)

This is a story of long long ago

Yo
Another day another dollar we live legendary
Travel the world by any means necessary
Fresh wallabies black suede Gucci robe X
Marks the spot I've travelled the globe
Hit the road slashing the universe universally
They call me liquid ghost I move like mercury
No hurting me I burn to the third degree
"How much you take to burn that formula?"
Help and participate instead of copy and paste
Purposefully I reveal the features
My road dogs, bark I got goons in the bleachers
To each his own I flip like a 90's phone
Fuck around you catch stars in your time zone

Slaying mics through my Wu Tang trilogy
36 the Cuban links the soul pillage bee
You know the history burn like rotisserie
Clan in the front chess boxing is the mystery

Clan in the front, it's the ghost
We want a killer, my tailor's a killer
We can defeat any competition, anywhere in the world
Worldwide, on the move on the real
Worldwide, bumrushing
Worldwide, 24/7 8 3 6 5
Worldwide, the general watch your door
For all of y'all, rock rhymes
For all of y'all, rock that shot
I set the microphone on fire
I admire your confidence
What do we do in the meantime

So we move like militants Saudi Arabians
Red flagged at airports banned by canadians
Kicked out of stadiums followed by Hip-Hop police
Yo, I got a cease and desist

Big eagle on the wrist they think it's a weapon
So I'll melt this shit down till the day of redemption
Not to mention my pensions is eight times a go
Wu Tang Clan howling niggers on the road

We move with such power and power in such movements
Sold our souls for years we move humans
We make the crowd chant Wu Tang forever
Shoot for the symbol on the stars and little dippers

Crown pleaser
You are pioneering a method
The lost wax process
Where exactly is your destination
Worldwide, no matter where you are
Worldwide, moving indeed
Worldwide, here we go, Yo
Worldwide, we're on the rise
For all of y'all, rock rhymes
For all of y'all, rock that shot
For all of y'all, I like to rip off mics
